Training for Home Care Franchisees & Caregivers

We’re With You Every Step of the Way

At Home Care Assistance, we believe that it is important to equip our franchisees with all the resources and tools they need to provide the best service to their clients. To this end, we work hard to have a rich library of training tools and resources available. Our franchise training and support system is unparalleled in the home care industry and we believe it is part of the reason for our continued success. From the moment you make the decision to join our senior care franchise, we immediately provide you a full week of in-depth training.

Initial Five-Day Training Program

The initial program we provide our franchisees lasts five days and takes place at an actual location in Minnesota. This program provides detailed insight and understanding of the senior home care industry.

Topics covered include:

  • Operations
  • Client Care
  • Employee care
  • Marketing

During this training program, you’ll work with our corporate team and receive valuable instruction on the day-to-day as well as big-picture aspects of running your Home Care Assistance franchise. Along the way, you’ll hear from a wide variety of Home Care Assistance franchisees and receive helpful insight from caregivers and operators. We’ll introduce you to the Home Care Assistance University, an online training portal with recorded web-based seminars covering a variety of valuable topics related to the business. This training program will start you off perfectly on your journey to success.

Home Care Assistance University

Home Care Assistance is the only senior care company that has an online training portal designed specifically as a resource for caregivers and other staff members to enhance their client care skills and knowledge.

Our curriculum is extensive and includes classes covering:

  • Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care
  • Healthy Nutrition
  • Mobility Support
  • Post-Hospitalization Care
  • Hospice Care and Much More!

All the topics we cover are designed to reflect best practices and cutting-edge research in aging and longevity. This includes the academia and information included in our Cognitive Therapeutics Method™ and Balanced Care Method™. The Balanced Care Method™ was developed based on 15 years of extensive research on health and longevity conducted in Okinawa, Japan—a region that has the largest number of centenarians with the least amount of disease than any other place in the world.
